The arraignment for a woman accused of killing son was postpones. The mom was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday after her son was killed at her home on Franklin Avenue in east Bakersfield  69-year-old Joyce Rush returns to court next Thursday so the public defender can check for conflicts. Rush is being held on $1.5 million bail for the shooting of 31-year-old Brian Rush on Tuesday. The initial charge was first-degree murder but has been changed to second-degree ahead of her arraignment. Her preliminary hearing is set for July 28th.
