A high speed chase that began at Meadows Field ended in a crash. The suspect is facing a list of felony charges including assault on a peace officer. The Sheriff’s office says 30-year-old Ryan Gates rammed a deputy’s vehicle in a stolen car at the airport and then sped off around 2:00 PM Friday. The pursuit ended with a collision at State Road and Airport Drive. No one was injured. 24-year-old Hanna Nguyen was left behind at the airport by Gates and was arrested on drug charges.
