One man has been killed and second has moderate injuries from an early morning shooting at a strip mall on California Avenue.

Bakersfield Police Sgt. Mike Gerrity says officers arrived just after 3:15 Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Stockdale West Plaza at Lennox Avenue. The wounded man is expected to recover. Investigators have not announced any suspects or motive for the double-shooting.
