Sheriff’s deputies are trying to identify a dead body pulled from the Kern River near Lake Ming.

Deputies were called out to the area around 10:00 Monday morning and removed the victim. Search and rescue had been looking for a missing swimmer nearby over the weekend, but they are not positive it is the same person.
