Kern County Public Health has shut down Rusty’s Pizza Parlor on Ming Avenue in Bakersfield for cockroaches and food safety violations.

The closure happened last Thursday after inspectors found the bugs in the dry storage, prep, dining and wash areas. No timeline for its reopening has been released.
