The Public Utilities Commission is holding statewide hearings on a requested rate hike by PG&E.The meetings begin next week and the first ones are in Bakersfield. Two meetings are scheduled for this Monday at 1:00 and 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers. If approved, the average monthly bill would increase $3 starting in January.
