One man has been killed in a motorcycle crash east of Bakersfield while his passenger walked away with just minor injuries.

Police say the motorcycle driver lost control around 1:10 Sunday afternoon on Alfred Harrell Highway near the CALM zoo and struck a curb. Both men were thrown from the bike, drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the crash.
