SHERIFF TO ASK FOR TAX HIKE

Sheriff Donny Youngblood plans to ask the Board of Supervisors to put a tax on the ballot.Youngblood said he supports a measure on the November ballot to increase the sales tax to support his office and the fire department. Youngblood told KGET Tuesday he will go before the supervisors in two weeks to ask voters for a one-half to one cent sales tax increase to provide about $7 million a year for each department.
