An erratic driver has been arrested on major drug charges. Bakersfield police saw a vehicle swerving badly in the area of Olive Drive and Highway 99 around 10:00 AM Friday when the driver suddenly hit the brakes, got out and ran away. The driver was found an hour later and police discovered 40 pounds of meth inside the vehicle. The suspect was not named by BPD.
