Deputies have shot a man in Rosamond who pointed a gun at them.32-year-old Samuel Johnson is hospitalized with moderate wounds following Tuesday morning’s vehicle chase that ended on Discovery Way. Deputies say the responded to a call around 1:00 AM of someone being threatened with a gun and found Johnson who drove off when they arrived. When he was stopped a short time later, he pointed a shotgun at them and the two deputies fired several rounds hitting him at least once. Johnson faces charges of attempted murder, terrorist threats and auto and gun theft.
