Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the man accused of shooting two relatives and causing a SWAT standoff outside an Oildale home.

The Sheriff’s Office thinks 30-year-old Christopher Gray fatally shot his uncle and critically injured another relative around 8:00 Friday morning. They thought he had barricaded himself inside a house on El Tejon Avenue just south of Norris Road, but after a bomb squad robot gave the all clear SWAT found he was not inside. Other family members on scene said there had been ongoing trouble between him and the victims.

Gray is described as 5ft. 10in. tall, weighing 150lbs, with green eyes and brown hair that has been shaved off.

Deputies say Gray is armed and dangerous and has been out of the house for some time. Anyone who spots him is encouraged to call 911.
