BAD AIR GETS WORSE

Wildfires in Los Angeles and Monterey Counties are making San Joaquin Valley air worse. The Air Pollution Control District says the Sand Fire near Santa Clarita is causing unusually high particulate matter and ozone levels and the Soberanes Fire near Big Sur is adding to the problem. Poor air quality is expected to continue in the Valley for the next week. Air quality is unhealthy for all people and outdoor activities should be kept to a minimum.
