BCSD PUTS BOND ON THE BALLOT

The Bakersfield City School Board is placing a $110 million bond measure on the November 8th ballot. Assistant Superintendent Steve McClain said Tuesday night’s decision comes with confidence that voters will support improvements to the district’s aging schools and facilities.

Property owners would pay an additional $30 per year per $100 thousand in value if the bond gets the required 55% approval.
