A Rosamond man has been sentenced to four years in prison for the death of his son. 31-year-old Allen Robbins had pleaded no contest to cruelty to a child before Tuesday’s hearing. He told deputies in 2014 that two-year-old Ryan Robbins had drowned after the toddler was found by a pond, but there was no evidence he’d been in the water.
