An accused Bakersfield wife killer has entered a plea in court. The Bakersfield man accused of strangling his wife and dumping her body near Ojai has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. 44-year-old Gonzalo Garibay appeared in court Monday and returns for a hearing August 16th. The victim’s family was in court wearing T-shirts with a picture of the wife. The police report shows he told investigators he was angry seeing his wife, Rosa, leave a motel with another man.
