Deputies have arrested a woman for murdering her uncle during a domestic violence incident in Oildale. Officers say 22-year-old Abrianna Ringgold stabbed the man in front of the house she shared with her grandmother on South Oildale Drive near Sycamore Drive just before noon on Monday. Ringgold was found hiding in a yard a short time later.

Relatives say the police had been called out several times to the house for domestic violence incidents, but there were no arrests. They also say the victim was a meth addict who sometimes lived in the garage, would beat Ringgold and her grandmother, and had threatened other women in the area.
