The man who pleaded no contest to killing his girlfriend’s one-year-old son in Boron has been sentenced to 22 years in prison. Adam Parrish was also charged with child cruelty after Tristan Bramlett was taken to the hospital with head injuries in 2010.

Deputy DA Gina Pearl says the child’s mother also played a role because she left her son around someone who had abused him in the past. That mother, Stephanie Bramlett, was sentenced to 10 years for child cruelty last month.
