The Kern County Fire Department is warning people about the dangers of hoarding. Firefighters have responded to three fires in Ridgecrest in the past few weeks and found hoarders had packed homes with clutter that made it difficult to get at the fire and put it out. They say it also makes it harder for residents to escape a fire and harder to locate and rescue them.
