Alcohol appears to have been a contributing factor in a highway death.The man who died when he was ejected during a crash at Muller Road and Weedpatch Highway has been identified as 19-year-old Jesus Galvan of Lamont. The accident happened around 2:00 AM Sunday when the car left the roadway for an unknown reason and flipped on its side. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash. The coroner’s release identified Galvan as a passenger but preliminary reports of the accident had him as the driver, possibly driving under the influence.
