The Bakersfield Museum of Art has appointed a new executive director. Amy Smith starts work September 26th replacing Mark Engelien who retired in May. Smith comes to the position after three years as Development Director for the Central Valley and Kern chapters of the American Red Cross and has many years of local non-profit experience before that.
