The final three games at Sam Lynn Ballpark drew the highest weekend series attendance in years for the Bakersfield Blaze. Friday and Saturday’s games were sold out with more than 21 hundred fans and Sunday also had a good crowd. However, the season attendance total is just 62 thousand, far less than half the league average. The two lowest attendance teams in the California League are the ones being contracted and relocated to the Carolina League.
