A Bakersfield woman has been named as the new warden at North Kern State Prison in Delano. 49-year-old Kelly Santoro has actually been serving as interim warden since last year. She had been Chief Deputy Warden at Wasco State Prison and has a background in inmate counseling and has been with state corrections for more than 20 years.
