The young man who died in a rollover accident on Poplar Avenue just outside Shafter has been identified.The coroner says the victim was 20-year-old Joseph Ramirez of Bakersfield. The CHP says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash around 1:00 AM Monday when Ramirez lost control of his pickup. He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the truck.
