DID BROWN REALLY SIGN THAT BILL?

Gov. Brown has signed into law a bill that makes it illegal to sell items featuring fake celebrity autographs. The measure to curb counterfeits had been passed by the legislature as a consumer protection as autographs are now big business. The bill had been supported by the likes of Star Wars actor Mark Hamill who says fakes have become a real problem for celebs and fans. Witnesses at Friday’s bill signing confirmed the governor’s signature was, in fact, authentic.
