A sushi restaurant went up in flames in Wasco at 7th and D Streets.Engines arrived around 6:00 Monday morning to find smoke and flames coming from the roof of the building and they quickly determined there was no one inside because the business was closed at the time. It took about twenty minutes to knock down the flames after another engine arrived and the damage estimate to Blue Sushi is about $150 thousand. The cause is uncertain but problems with the electrical system may be suspected.
