The Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce is asking for a fresh perspective in City Council Ward 5.The call for change comes as they announce candidate endorsements. The chamber’s political action committee is backing Jeff Tkac to replace Vice Mayor Harold Hanson, who has held the seat for 16 years. They recommend Terry Maxwell stay on the council and the Chamber also supports Karen Goh over Kyle Carter for mayor.
