Bakersfield police have a new police dog and he comes from Slovakia. Rocco is a two-year-old Belgian Malinois and is a donation from local resident Pamela Clark. K-9 Officer Jonathan Berumen and Rocco finished initial training and are now being assigned to a patrol detail which typically results in four to six years of service for the partnership.
