A man has been arrested for stabbing his mother as she drove.It happened on Fruitvale Avenue near Hageman Road in northwest Bakersfield. Police say 41-year-old Otilio Pesina stabbed the woman multiple times around 2:00 Thursday afternoon causing her to crash into a parked car. The victim ran from the car and the man gave chase but he was stopped by a passerby and held until police arrived. Pesina was arrested at the scene and his mother is listed in stable condition.
