NATIONAL VALLEY FEVER STUDY AT KERN MEDICAL

The first ever national clinical study on Valley Fever is underway at Kern Medical. The hospital is one of six sites in California and Arizona that are trying to improve treatment by giving an anti-fungal drug to people diagnosed with walking pnuemonia.

The National Institutes of Health is funding the study. They are looking for 1,000 participants over the next six years.
