Cal State Bakersfield swimmer Paola Hernandez has earned six wins at the Malibu Invitational. Hernandez’s first place honors at the weekend competition include the 50 backstroke and freestyle and relay 300 freestyle.

Hernandez swam so fast in the 200 backstroke that she was less than a second outside of CSUB’s all-time Top 5 list in that event.
