A two-alarm fire sent flames and smoke high into the air at Wonderful Pistachios in Lost Hills. Kern County Fire says large storage bins filled with agriculture waste began burning around 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters kept the damage contained to an outside storage area and away from the processing plant. The cause is unknown.
