The CHP and Bakersfield Police are investigating two separate accidents involving pedestrians.

A man is in critical condition after being hit around 7:30 Thursday night on Brundage Lane and Oleander Street, and second person has died after they were hit around 4:00 Friday morning at the Laval Road offramp at Southbound Interstate 5 at the base of the Grapevine.
