TWO LAMONT SUSPECTS ENTER PLEAS

Two suspects in this month’s Lamont gas station shooting have pleaded not guilt to first-degree murder. 22-year-old Darnell Hammond and 40-year-old Jim Langston are charged with gang participation and robbery as special circumstances for the killing of Heriberto and Juan Aceves on October 14th at Quality Gas on Main Street. The two are due back in court for a preliminary hearing November 28th. Hammond faces charges that implies he’s the suspected shooter, he was also on the streets after having been found in violation of parole in August for a previous robbery conviction.
