A 22-year-old man has been arrested on drugs and weapons charges.Police say they found a sawed-off shotgun while searching his home on Quantico Drive in central Bakersfield. Richard Mendez was booked Sunday night with bail set at $135 thousand and police say he also resisted arrest. Charges include being a felon in possession of a firearm.
