SALVATION ARMY BRINGS OUT THE KETTLES

The Salvation Army of Kern County has kicked off their bell ringing season as they begin collecting donations through their kettle drive. Captain Kevin Pope is hoping Wednesday’s kickoff luncheon at the Petroleum Club raises $15,000.

There will be thirty kettles around the area by the day after Thanksgiving, and the Captain says they are currently looking for volunteer bell ringers.
