Bakersfield Police have arrested a suspected gang member after a search warrant turned up firearms and several rounds of ammunition. Investigators say they also found a scoped, high powered hunting rifle Saturday at 23-year-old Artis Hammond’s residence on Norseman Street and McDonald Way. He faces numerous weapons charges.
