The Valley Air District is issuing a no burn order for the entire San Joaquin Valley. Thursday’s restriction is for any outside burning or using fireplaces, inserts or stoves that are not registered with the district. People with newer burning devices must have them registered or will be subject to a $100 fine if used on no burn days.
