The first-ever Bakersfield Marathon will be shutting down roads all over town as runners take to the streets. Sunday’s race is founded by David Milazzo and Charles Brown and they say they have gone all out to make it a first-class event, hiring a professional firm that puts on marathons. Traffic and bus service will be impacted in many locations from 6:00 AM until around 1:00 as they start at CSUB, head to Bakersfield College then return to the Cal State campus.
