The two men who were shot to death on consecutive nights in northeast Bakersfield have been identified.The coroner says the dead are 21-year-old Brandon Fanning and 19-year-old Exavier Tappin. Fanning was killed Thursday night on Pearl Street near Bernard Street, then Tappin was shot dead a couple houses away Friday night. Police have not named suspects or linked the crimes.
