A search is planned Thursday near Ridgecrest for the body of a possible murder victim who disappeared 16 years ago in Long Beach.

Diana Rojas was last seen in the apartment she shared with her two-year-old daughter and her black pickup truck was never found, but investigators recently got a tip on where she may be buried.

The Sheriff’s Office and Ridgecrest Police will help with the excavation.
