Three people have been treated for smoke inhalation after an apartment building caught fire.It happened at Virginia and Jefferson streets in east Bakersfield. Fire engines were on their way to Lake Isabella when they saw the smoke Friday afternoon and responded to the multistory apartment building. A cause and damage estimate have not been determined.
