The Bakersfield Downtown Business Association is promoting Shop Small Saturday as a follow up to Black Friday. Melanie Farmer of the DBA says their Champagne and Shopping event supports local, family-owned businesses, and lets shoppers have fun doing it. $20 Tickets area available at the Padre Hotel and pedicabs will take shoppers to the locations on the event passport. The shopping runs 10:00 to 4:00 Saturday and Farmer says small stores offer a unique shopping experience and better customer service.
