The EPA has issued a report on facilities that release the most toxic materials.The biggest producer in California is in Buttonwillow. Clean Harbors site released 8 million pounds of toxins into the environment in 2015. The material is contained to their industrial waste facility as they are a repository for other industries. Still, it qualifies as the top since they release the toxic materials into the land.
