Cal State Bakersfield ranks third in the nation for universities where students achieve upward mobility. The Equal Opportunity Project compared college graduates in their thirties to see which went from low-income to middle-income and above. 81 percent of CSU Bakersfield students were able to move upward, ranking tops among in the West.
