A U.S. Postal Service employee has been robbed at gunpoint.The crime also forced three east Bakersfield schools to be placed on lock down. Two men in black hoodies robbed the letter carrier at Park and Ryan drives in the noon hour Friday, and police are not saying what was taken. No arrests have been made and the letter carrier was unhurt. It’s unclear if this is connected to a wave of mail thefts recently in Bakersfield.
