The search for a man missing in the Kern River Canyon is temporarily halted due to bad weather. The Sheriff’s Search and Rescue say they hope to begin looking again Tuesday for Steve Garcia who went missing Saturday night. They will wait for better weather because the areas yet to be searched are steep and rocky with loose dirt, making the search dangerous.
