A 5-year-old girl is dead and 40-year-old man is facing charges after a suspected drunk driving crash in Rosamond. The CHP says Tyree Nelson of Palmdale allowed his car to drift into the oncoming lane on the Sierra Highway Wednesday afternoon where it collided with a dump truck. Nelson was seriously hurt and the girl in his car died.
