A 21-year-old man is in jail after a car chase that began in Los Angeles ended up in Kern County.The chase ended at the intersection of Weedpatch and Edison highways. Police tried to pull over a reported stolen vehicle when it took off. The CHP deployed spike strips to end the chase around 4:30 Tuesday morning and the driver and female passenger were arrested.
