Cal State Bakersfield has hosted a career fair to make students familiar with jobs in agriculture that go beyond working in the fields.

Angel Cottrell of the School of Business says Wednesday event comes after the university had its first Agriculture Business degree graduates just last year. The idea is to have CSUB grads ready to fill local jobs that require degrees, rather than having to import people from schools like Fresno State and Cal Poly.
