Another local high school has been evacuated and classes canceled over a bomb scare. The bomb squad responded to Garces High School in central Bakersfield after a note was found scrawled in a bathroom on campus. No explosives were found Tuesday morning and no suspects have been identified. Explosive sniffing dogs searched the campus as students and employees waiting on the athletic fields until they were all sent home. Two Ridgeview High School students were arrested for setting off fireworks in a locker room last Friday that emptied the campus and ended classes for the day.
